Nathan Bell is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Drawing upon 20 years of ministry experience, Nathan Bell is the Vice President of Marriage Enrichment at Live the Life. Nathan's takes a refined, in-depth, and gospel centered approach to all his work. He has been effective in walking alongside of hundreds of couples. He has fashioned powerful, marriage enrichment interventions and discipleship for the community. His ministry work is devoted to build, encourage, nurture and restore Godly, healthy intimacy in relationships.
A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Nathan's education includes a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in Counseling from Liberty University. He has also been a missionary and youth worker in Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Holland, and India. Nathan, who has been married for 17 years and is the father of four children, is a member of Christ Community Presbyterian Church.
Nathan provides individual and marriage counseling to bring men and women from stress and despair to peace and wholeness. For clients who want to go deeper and develop ongoing support during healing and restoration, Nathan leads the ministry’s two main programs, the Marriage Enhancement Project and the Intimate Fellowship Endeavor Program. In addition, he leads workshops and small groups to help Christians live authentically and understand how to apply truths from God’s word.
Before his work with Live the Life, Nathan served as the Founder and Executive Director of Fulfilling Endeavors. He also ministered in the following churches and organizations:
- Associate Director and Residential Director for Love in Action International, Inc., a ministry in Memphis for men and women struggling with sexual addiction. Duties included managing and directing up to 15 employees, one on one counseling with 10-15 client caseload, coordinating and leading group therapy and interaction, public speaking and teaching. (1997 - 2005)
- Ministry Assistant for Outpost Incorporated, a ministry helping men struggling with homosexuality. Duties included counseling clients, leading support groups, writing monthly publications. (1996 - 1997)
- Personal Counselor for ACR Homes Incorporated, providing physical and emotional support for mentally handicapped adults. (1992 - 1997)
