Colonel (Retired) Raul Benitez is a combat veteran and the Regional Director for Live the Life-San Antonio. He leads a fantastic all-volunteer Team that serves the Military Community in “Military City, USA”. The San Antonio Metro Area has one of the highest concentrations in the country of military bases, service members, military families, and retirees from all branches of the Defense Department. It is the home to major commands for all services to include the Air Force’s primary basic training center at Lackland Air Force Base (The Gateway to the Air Force), the Army hosting the primary medical training school for all services at historic Fort Sam Houston’s Army Medical Command, and the Air Force’s training and doctrine center, the Air Education Training Command at Randolph Air Force Base.
